Today's offering showcases this 1942 Movado for Spaulding & Co. watch with a great look. A rare watch in the Spaulding-Gorham signed dial version, it has a striking bulls-eye dial with Breguet numerals.
If you're not familiar Spaulding & Co. was a prestigious jeweler in Chicago, at times referred to as the "Tiffany & Co. of the West." (An article on Spaulding & Co. can be found here.) Spaulding was bought by Gorham in 1920, and then merged with Black, Starr & Frost in 1929.

Measuring 28.5mm in diameter by 39mm long, it's suitable for someone with small wrists. Originally a full-featured dress watch, it has a water-resistant style case and inner anti-magnetic cover.
